What we do to help you.

Relate Somerset is an independent charity, affiliated to the national Relate federation.

For over 70 years Relate has been helping people with their relationship problems.

Relate Somerset is located in the town centres of Taunton, Wells, Bridgwater and Yeovil. The charity employs 20 experienced and trained practitioners who work with clients who are:

• Experiencing relationship difficulties
• Struggling through a bad patch
• Thinking of splitting up
• Trying to come to terms with the breakdown of their relationship
• Require practical support in dealing with their relationship breakdown

We support all areas of the community, young or old, regardless of background, gender or ethnicity.
Relate Somerset is also able to offer Life Skills Training courses for young people. These are usually delivered in school.

Confidentiality

We aim to provide a caring and effective service in a safe environment. We are particularly mindful of the need for complete confidentiality, and will always take note of any instructions you may have about how we are to contact you. We will never reveal confidential information about you to a third party unless someone's personal safety is at risk.
